The heart of our studio is a pot of beeswax.
The scent of honey fills the air.
Wax touches everything.
Beeswax begins colorless and scentless.
Varying golden hues are infused over time
based on the pollen and nectar
collected by the honey bee.

We work with New York beekeepers to source fresh local beeswax.
Our candles are hypoallergenic and feature a vibrant color and scent.
How is beeswax made? At fifteen days old, female honey bees engorge on honey which causes wax to secrete from their belly. They sculpt the wax to shape the hexagonal honeycomb—which stores food and babies. A New York State beekeeper collects beeswax up to three times per year, as a byproduct of the honey harvest.
